Our Vision for
the New St. Anthony’s

New Church Design at St. Anthony of Padua in Casa Grande

Rendering of the new St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church design in Casa Grande

Artistic rendering inspired by the vision for our future sanctuary

The new St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is being thoughtfully designed as a complete parish campus—one that supports worship, formation, and community life in a unified and intentional way. At the heart of this vision is a sacred space that draws people closer to Christ and invites a deeper encounter with the Eucharist.

A Church Designed for Worship

The new sanctuary will provide seating for approximately 1,100 parishioners, allowing our growing parish family to gather together as one. The layout of the church is carefully designed to bring the congregation closer to the altar, creating a more prayerful and connected worship experience. A dedicated Mercy Chapel will offer a quiet space for daily prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and personal reflection.

A Place for Our Growing Community

Built for Fellowship and Formation

Beyond the sanctuary, the campus will include welcoming gathering areas, covered walkways, and spaces designed for connection before and after Mass. New classrooms and ministry spaces will support religious education, youth programs, sacramental preparation, and adult faith formation—helping us grow together as a community rooted in faith.

The campus will also include administrative offices and meeting spaces to better serve parishioners and support ministry work. Dedicated areas for music and liturgical preparation will enhance the beauty and reverence of our worship, ensuring that every aspect of parish life is supported with care and purpose.

Supporting Our Parish Mission

Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future

Throughout the design, we are committed to honoring the history of St. Anthony’s. Sacred elements from our former church—such as stained glass and marble—will be preserved and incorporated into the new space, creating a visible connection between our past and our future.

More Than Rebuilding

This is not simply rebuilding what was lost.
It is building a future for generations.

It is a commitment to the future of our parish—a place where children will be baptized, families will grow in faith, and generations will gather in worship for years to come.

See how this vision comes to life.

Inside the Tower

A sacred space of beauty and reverence rises above the entrance of the church. Light, stone, and sacred geometry draw the eye upward toward heaven—reminding us that every part of this church is designed to lift the soul toward God.

Every detail of this design reflects our story, our faith, and our future.

Architecture that tells the story of our parish.

The new bell tower honors the history of St. Anthony Parish. Each level reflects a chapter of our story—from Mercy Chapel, to our former church, to the new church now rising. Together they symbolize a parish rooted in faith and moving forward in hope.

A Sacred Continuity

The new church will feature cedar ceilings inspired by the beauty of our original sanctuary, carrying forward the warmth and craftsmanship that have sheltered generations of prayer.

From what was broken, God brings new life.

Marble recovered from the fire will form the baptismal font where new Christians will be born through water and the Spirit.

Saved from the Fire

The crucifix rescued from our beloved church will be restored and placed in the new sanctuary — a powerful reminder that even in loss, faith endures and hope rises again.

Honoring the Past

The original “To the Glory of God” dedication plaque will be preserved and placed on the new church façade facing First Street. Though the fire took much from us, this sacred inscription will remain as a visible link between our past and the church we now rebuild.

Pray With Us as We Rebuild

Join us in prayer as we rebuild our parish home.

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Anthony of Padua Church,

In the wake of the devastating fire that destroyed our beloved church building in 2024, our parish family has come together with faith, hope, and determination. Through the ‘Raise Up St. Anthony’s – Be Part of the Vision’ capital campaign, we are working to build a new, larger, and more modern spiritual home that will serve our growing community in Casa Grande for generations to come.

Pray with us! This 9-Day Novena to St. Joseph has been specially prepared for our parish. Each day includes a short reflection focused on our church family, our community in Casa Grande, and the ‘Raise Up St. Anthony’s’ campaign.
